YOUNG CHEF
This competition has been growing in popularity in our district with more and more clubs participating and they are aligned with all the cooking shows on television. The competition is aimed at budding chefs, who want to learn from the best and compete with the best in our district and then represent district 1160 at the RIBI final in the UK. The overall prize winner in RIBI will be presented with a trophy, £250, a day experience at Fifteen Restaurant (founded by Jamie Oliver) and a trip to Tuscany sponsored by Fillippo Berio.
The competition at club level is based on a written submitted menu which has to be a 3-course healthy meal for two people for a maximum of £14/€21. The club will then decide on a winner which will represent them at a regional final (3 regions), the regional final winners will continue on to the district final. Our district final winner will represent the district in London at the RIBI final.
